The Service Crew role is rresponsible for assisting Operators to ensure operational targets are met in a safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely execute mine service duties as tasked by the Shift Supervisor
• Preform Pre-start light vehicle checks
• Assist Jumbo Operators in delivery of equipment i.e. split sets, mesh, steels and anything required for operation.
• Position mesh for Jumbo to install
• Help Jumbo Operator maintain equipment in a safe manner
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed by the Shift Supervisor in line with the weekly and daily schedule.
• Assist in Servicing the mine
• Observe all warning, prohibition and mandatory PPE signs and notices.
• Wear correct personal protective equipment.
• Identify hazards and take corrective actions as appropriate.

• C Class Drivers’ Licence
• Working Safely at Heights
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Police Clearance
• Excellent mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability and quick learner
• Flexible and reliable work ethic demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Dogging certificate
